Bee’ah the Sharjah Environment Company LLC is a fully integrated environmental management company that provides environmental services including waste management, waste collection, recycling and waste recovery. Bee’ah had launched as a semi government (Private-Public) company in partnership with Sharjah City Municipality. It is the first of Company that works in the field of providing environmental services and infrastructure in Middle East.
In one of the very recent International research UAE identified as the most negative environmental impact per capita. Moreover, Sharjah had introduced as one of the highest Cities in the world in producing the waste per capita with 2,000 tons per day of solid waste. This study comes with an approximate figure of 2.5 KG per person daily. The waste in the Landfill rises the hill over the land by 30 cm every day. As well as the Municipal Solid Waste is increasing, the Construction and Demolition Waste had also reached 1,095,000 tons per year. More than 2,500 tires arrived daily to the landfill.
